Non-Competitive Teams
- Each player must have registration form signed by a parent or legal guardian, along with a media release.
- Each player must be covered by insurance and policy copied to Miracle League Association.
- Each player receives a team uniform and baseball hat.
- Each player gets to bat each inning.
- Each player gets to circle the bases to score a run each inning.
- Every player scores and is never called "Out".
- Two innings per team per game.
- Game time is approximately 90 minutes in duration.
- Each player has an assigned buddy for each game.
- Teams consist of no more than 12 to 13 players.
- Each player receives a trophy at the end of the season.
- Teams use a 9 in. soft-core safety baseball with synthetic cover or woffle balls; There is also a special ball available for the blind, please contact corporate office.
- Games are canceled in event of rain or inclement weather.
- A Miracle League coach cannot coach another Miracle League team.
- Each team has a Coach, Assistant Coach and a Team Mom.
- Two umpires cover each game to call players safe on first and home. Enthusiasm is necessary in this position; they must help make the game FUN.
- Coaches are to huddle the children before the start of each game in order to stretch and get the players excited about the game.
- Reminder that the "buddies" are there for four reasons:
- To protect the Miracle League Players.
- To assist the Miracle League Players, but only as needed.
- To allow the Miracle League Players the opportunity to play as much as possible.
- To encourage the Miracle League Players.
A scholarship fund is available for players who are not able to pay the registration fee.
A Competitive League can be established once the need and parents’ desires are established.
